Stayce Richardson Family

Stayce Whelden Richardson lives in Wesley Chapel with her husband, of thirty-five years, Lindon. When she is not writing, Stayce enjoys sewing, biking, happy dancing, eating chocolate, and watching her grandchildren. Her life is full, with five children, four of whom are married, and between them, they have blessed her with seven grandbabies. "I always say, seven grandchildren and two of my children aren’t even producing yet." Her faith and her family is her life; there is nothing better than family dinner night, with its screams, laughter, and occasional tears drifting around the house from the playroom. "We laugh, and we love." God has graced her with a beautiful life.

Stayce spent her childhood in Conway, New Hampshire. In her early teens, her family moved to Seminole, Florida. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant once out of high school. She married, Lindon young and became a mother, which quickly became her passion. "Reading to my children has been the highlight of my life. I tried to instill the love of the written word into them, but you know, boys want to go outside and play ball." Since I had four, there was not a lot of hope. My daughter loves to read, and I love it that we have that in common."

Stayce's favorite endeavor in all the world is writing. When her six-year-old son brought home a computer from school, she sat down one afternoon at nap time, placed her fingers on the keys, and that was it. Her life of writing began. Over the years, her novel-writing had to take a backseat to raise her children. "Hours would go by, and my babies were hungry. Just let me finish this thought, I would say — hungry babies. I could not stop, so I had to stop." Ten years later, Stayce picked it up again and has been writing almost every day since.
